SPA POLICIES
-Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment.

-There is a 48-hour cancellation policy on all treatments. Clients will be charged for sessions canceled less than 48 hours in advance.

-If client wishes to reschedule an appointment, a $25 rescheduling fee will be applied to the account. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

-If the client arrives late for an appointment, the session will end at the originally scheduled time.

-Draping will be used at all time and is required.

-Clients are requested to refrain from consuming alcohol or taking any mind-altering or intoxicating substances before or during the massage session.

-Please silence cell phones and pagers.

-All clients who obtain treatments are invited to use the spa premises outdoor swimming pool after their treatments.

Facials | top

All facial treatments begin with a gentle herbal cleanser applied to the face and neck. Warm, soothing aromatherapy compresses are used to remove dirt, dead skin cells and impurities. An Apricot Facial scrub is then gently massaged into the face and neck exfoliating, cleansing and calming the complexion. Your choice of clay masques follows. A second masque of pure Honey and Rose Oil is applied for hydrating, soothing and protecting. Lastly, your skin is treated with an organic toner before a herbal face cream is applied.

While the masque is actively working, your therapist will massage your scalp, neck and hands. The deluxe facial treatments also include a soothing foot massage.

• DEEP CLEANSING FACIAL
  The Blue Clay Masque with Myrrh and Licorice root provides gentle, deep cleansing. The Blue Clay Masque is made with Blue Montmorillonite clay combined with powdered Myrrh, Commiphora molmol, and powdered Licorice root, Glycyrrhiza glabra. The Montmorillonite clays are active clays and used when detoxification, cleansing and purification is needed. A masque combining the actions of the Blue Montmorillonite clay and powdered Myrrh is able to deep clean and disinfect the skin helping with outbreaks. Licorice root aids the healing process while reducing inflammation and cleansing the affected areas.
  
  
• HYDRATING FACIAL
  Your choice of two masques, the Pink Clay Masque with Oatmeal and Slippery Elm bark for sensitive skin or the Red Clay Masque with Whey and Silk Amino Acids, both work to provide soothing nourishment and hydration to your skin.

  -Pink Clay Masque with colloidal Oatmeal and powdered Slippery Elm bark is a balanced combination of plant and earth based vitamins and minerals to harmonize, heal and replenish your skin. Oats, Avena sativa and Slippery Elm, Ulmus fulva, have been used traditionally for soothing, calming and nourishing the skin and body. The combination of the very fine colloidal Oatmeal and Slippery Elm powder with the mild and therapeutic properties of the Pink Kaolin Clay act to gently harmonize, soothe and nourish the skin. The cicatrisation, or wound healing, properties of the Kaolin clays are the most esthetic of all the clays. Pink Kaolin Clay is among the gentlest of the healing clays and suitable for the most delicate of skin.

  -Red Clay Masque made with Red Kaolin clay with powdered Whey and Silk Amino Acids will nourish the skin from the outside in. The Kaolin clays are used when repairing and healing actions are desired. The skin is a vibrant and very large organ capable of maintaining its own immune system as well as its own nourishment and eliminatory functions while protecting the body as a whole. Powdered milk makes protein and nourishing vitamins available to the skin while Silk proteins aid collagen production in the skin. In the Red Clay Masque both combine with the iron and copper oxides in the red clay to nourish the skin with proteins and minerals to help the complexion glow.
  
  

• THE REMINERALIZING/REVITALIZING SEA PLANT FACIAL
  The Green Clay Masque with Sea Plants helps to replenish minerals and vitamins necessary for health. The positive effects of this combination of green clay from France and Seaweed will revitalize your complexion. The Green Clay and Seaweed Masque is a balanced combination of the minerals of land and sea. Thalassotherapy or Sea Therapy from the Greek word for sea, thalassa, is combined with clay, Pelotherapy, to fully treat your complexion. Seaweeds, by nature are storehouses of the minerals and vitamins necessary for the health of our bodies. They contain alginic acid, amino acids, polysaccharides, iodine, the minerals magnesium, potassium, and calcium, and the vitamins A, B, C and D. These therapeutic elements in sea plants have the ability to pass through the skin¹s layers carrying their minerals and healing properties into the body. Two therapeutic French Green Clays provide potent activity for the complexion; Montmorillonite clay for drawing and detoxifying and Illite clay to balance and heal tissue without scarring.
  
  
• THE GENTLEMAN¹S FACIAL CLEANSING ENZYME MASQUE
  This facial is customized for gentleman¹s specific skincare needs. Cleansing and exfoliation are followed by an Enzyme Masque of Lemon, Pineapple, Papaya and Jasmine. The fruit acid extracts are excellent for skin renewal and softening which offers alleviation from skin irritation caused by shaving. The enzyme masque with pineapple, red wine, citron, lemon, bilberry and peppermint extracts make this mask almost good enough to eat. Essences of pearl, jasmine and dandelion provide subtle energies to promote a sense of well-being and the release of cellular memories.
