          Feel your everyday cares drop away when you open the gate to this secluded retreat.  Located beside Hulbert Creek (seasonal) and surrounded by sunny patios as well as shady redwood trees, this home has something for everyone any time.  Savor your morning coffee on the sunny kitchen patio, take tea high on the hillside deck beneath the serene gaze of Diana, the huntress, dine on the living room patio and watch the sunset, and soak in the hot tub beneath the stars.  Settle down to a game of Scrabble before the word-burning stove, soak up the sun on a lounge chair, curl up on the comfortable sofa with a book, play fetch with your dog, or even bake a pie--you'll never want to leave this peaceful retreat. Heartsrest is completely fenced except for the 15' drop to Hulbert Creek--unless your dog would jump over the perimeter wall down to the creek, your dog should be secure.  And if you need to stay connected, Heartsrest offers wireless high-speed cable Internet access.

          This lovely home, owned by a noted San Francisco artist and his partner, reflects their incomparable aesthetic, including an art collection of great interest and beauty.  Limited to four people, there are two bedrooms featuring queen beds and one bath with shower.   The living area features open-beam ceilings, skylights and a pleasing mixture of contemporary and antique furnishings.   Very private and quiet, yet only a mile from downtown Guerneville, Heartsrest is close to restaurants, river beaches, boat rentals, and shops, and just a fifteen minute drive to ocean beaches.
