Cazablanca is an old-fashioned vacation cabin in the redwood forest on Austin Creek in Cazadero. This spot on Austin Creek is a walkable ¾ of a mile from the Russian River. Just four miles from downtown Cazadero's general store, a couple of miles from local hangout Raymond's Bakery, two miles from downtown Duncans Mills' shopping and fine dining, and seven miles from Downtown Guerneville, this home is an easy drive to civilization. It is also a short drive to the Pacific coast beaches.
House:
Nestled in-between redwood trees and a beautiful garden, with a great open view of the creek, this charming cabin sleeps six and has amazing views in all directions. All on a single level, there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The light-filled living room has a comfortable queen sleeper, a pellet stove, stereo with CD and TV with DVD/VCR, and opens onto a large deck overlooking the creek with two outdoor dining sets and gas grill. The kitchen is a comfortable cooking space with electric stove; the sink overlooks the garden. There is a bathroom with shower off the living room. The master bedroom features a queen bed with good quality linens, its own bathroom with shower, and a great view of the woods. Glass sliders open onto the deck. The other bedroom has a queen bed and is right next to the other bathroom. This home is equipped with wireless high-speed Internet access.
Grounds:
Cazablanca's grounds are a ½ acre of paradise with tall redwood trees, gorgeous gardens, expansive deck space and easy access via steps to Austin Creek. The yard is fenced on three sides; heavy shrubbery borders the fourth side with a path through it to the dog-friendly Austin Creek. It's a ¾ of a mile walk down the creek to the Russian River. A few yards from the house, a four-person hot tub sits on a unique, circular deck, along with an outdoor shower and dining set for two surrounded by lush garden. A few yards beyond is the pavilion entry to the path to the creek.
