    Russian River Vacation Rental

          Location: On a private cul-de-sac in the Hacienda Bridge section of Forestville, Casa del Rio is a stone's throw to one of the best wine tasting areas in Sonoma County, to the Hacienda Beach, and to the local market and video rental. Guerneville's shopping, nightlife, and dining are 10 minutes to the west. The Pacific Coast is 15 minutes past that.

          House: Intimate and beautifully furnished, Casa del Rio is a great hideaway for two to four people, completely remodeled with Mexican tile floors and excellent artwork. The cozy, wood-paneled living room has comfortable leather seating, a flat-screen TV, gas fireplace, and dining set for four. The adjacent sunny kitchen has gorgeous tilework. French doors open to the deck. The two bedrooms sleep 4 people on queen beds, and have their own TVs. The bathroom has a shower only. The whole house has hot water on demand. If you want to stay connected, there's wireless high-speed Internet access for your laptop.

          Grounds: Amongst the trees in a parklike setting with its own easy beach access, Casa del Rio has a set of stairs up to the front door. Sunny green lawn framed by shade trees extends from the back of the house toward the river where an easy access path leads to a small beach with two kayaks. The large, private deck, partially covered and completely secure for dogs and small children, features outdoor dining for four, gas grill, free-standing hammock, 4-person hot tub, loungers and other comfortable seating. Although there are neighboring houses, the deck is completely private.

    Rentals of less than 31 days require collection of 9% hotel tax plus 2% County Business Improvement Area tax.
