House: Balalaika Group Retreat consists of six townhouses in three side-by-side buildings, each with two bedrooms and two baths, sleeping 35 people (in 19 separate sleeping spaces). The spacious, light-filled living rooms feature large picture windows and vaulted ceilings, remote controlled gas fireplace, and cable TV with DVD. They open to redwood decks with barbecue grills, patio dining, and beautiful views of the redwood forest. Each unit has a dining set with seating for six. The kitchens have designer cabinetry and granite counters, with every amenity. Five master bedrooms have king beds, one has a queen. Three master bedrooms have double "settee" futons. Each has its own balcony. All six second bedrooms have queen beds. For additional sleeping, one unit has a settee double futon in the master bedroom, plus a futon in the living room. Three units have settee double futons in the master bedroom and one of those has an additional twin bed in the second bedroom, sleeping seven total in that unit. One unit has a queen futon in the living room. Each master bedroom has its own cable TV and DVD. The tile and stone master bathrooms have large showers with dual heads and separate tubs, the second bathroom in each unit has a combination shower/tub. Each unit has wireless high-speed cable Internet access. Two units have a washer and dryer and four units share two hot on decks that provide privacy gates for each unit.

      Grounds: Balalaika Group Retreat is tucked up against a hillside of redwood forest. There is off-road parking for 18 cars (five tandem). Between two of the buildings is a large communal deck, screened for privacy, with patio dining and an outdoor fireplace.
